Are these courts open to the public?

Yes. A key criterion for inclusion in the book is that all courts were playable for visiting players at the time of our visit. Courts that were not accessible were deliberately left out. Please note that access can change over time. Clubs may adjust their guest policies, hotels can add, remove, or resurface courts, and availability may vary by season. We therefore recommend that you always check access before you go.

How can I get to play on the courts?

Access varies from court to court, just as much as the settings themselves. Some courts are public and free to play on, while others belong to tennis clubs and may be bookable online, accessible by simply walking in, or arranged through a local coach. Many courts are located at hotels, with some welcoming outside guests and others reserved exclusively for hotel guests. The book does not provide specific planning instructions or contact details. This is a deliberate choice, as access conditions can change over time. We therefore recommend that visitors always check directly with the club, venue, or hotel before planning a visit.

Is the content original or curated?

All content in the book is original. The photographs are created specifically for this project through high-quality photography, with texts written by us. Rather than just compiling images from various sources, we chose to document each location ourselves. This was essential, as many courts have not previously been covered by professional photography at all, others have not been shown with the depth we sought, and our intention was to capture more than the court alone. By working with a single photographic approach and artistic vision, we were able to portray the broader experience of each place, its surroundings, and atmosphere, in a coherent visual expression across the entire book.
